Is
SmartchoicePharmacy.com a pharmacy?
Yes and no. Richmond Pharmacy is the name of the actual pharmacy. SmartchoicePharmacy.com is only a web address for the pharmacy. C&K Medical LLC handles all customer service support for this web site.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes. We require a valid US prescription from your doctor
for all our medication. The US pharmacy can accept prescriptions from a nurse practitioner.
Are there certain drugs I cannot buy?
Unfortunately we cannot ship any controlled substances
from our Canadian pharmacy. However our U.S. pharmacy can provide controlled substances. Please note that all controlled substances require an original prescription from your US physician. We must receive the original prescription before this medication can be filled. The prescription cannot be older than 6 months. In addition, we must verify the prescription with your physician and we do not do doctor consolations in an effort to obtain a prescription for you. We will not ship narcotics also known as Schedule 2 Controlled Substances.
What happens if the Canadian doctor finds an issue with my prescription?
The pharmacy will notify our customer service staff and you will
be contacted. Please don't forget to check your email, as we regularly
send email confirmations so you can be aware of your order status
at all times.
How do I pay?
We prefer Mastercard and Visa; this is the fastest method of payment. We
also accept personal checks and money orders.
Can I get my American prescription filled in Canada?
Yes. A Canadian doctor will review your "health chart" and approve the
prescription under his/her Canadian license. Once the physician rewrites the
prescription under their license your prescription can then be filled in Canada.
Are there any charges for the Canadian doctor to review and approve my American
prescription?
No. There are no additional charges.
Do I get charged a shipping fee for every prescription?
No. You are charged based upon your order, not per prescription.

to our toll-free number - that is always free!
How is my order shipped and how long will it take?

Priority mail. Most packages arrive within 7-10 business days, if not less
but shipping can take as long as 21 days, depending on any mail delays that
might occur. We also include a tracking number that is available after your
order has shipped and you track your package right on our website.

Is there a limit on how much I can buy?
Yes. The most the pharmacy can fill and ship to you is a three months supply.
Will you accept my insurance?

However, we can supply you with a receipt that may be suitable for reimbursement through your insurance company. At this time our US pharmacy accepts most insurance and Medicare D plans. Please call 1-866-585-6337 to place an order using insurance. Insurance only applies to orders sent from our US pharmacy.
Does the Canadian/US pharmacy use generic or name brand prescription drugs
when filling orders?
You will receive the generic version of your prescriptions unless you or
your prescription indicates otherwise. You must inform the pharmacy that you
wish for them to use the brand name drugs when filling your medication, unless
your prescription already indicates.
Can you transfer my prescriptions from my current pharmacy?
Unfortunately, your prescriptions cannot be transferred to our Canadian
pharmacy. We can only accept new prescriptions from your doctor.
Can you accept a prescription from a nurse practitioner?
No, Canadian pharmacies cannot accept these as valid prescriptions. All
prescriptions must be signed by a licensed US doctor. The US Pharmacy is able to accept Prescriptions from a nurse practitioner.
What is the return policy?
Pharmacy regulations and laws in both Canada and the United States prohibit the return of medication. If the pharmacy has made an error in your order the pharmacy will correct the error. Please consult with your doctor prior to ordering to assure that your medications are properly ordered and/or needed. Refunds and/or exchanges are prohibited due to any circumstances beyond pharmacy error.
Are the drugs I will receive the same quality as the drugs that I buy in
the U.S.?
Yes. All of our brand name medication comes from the same U.S. manufacturers
that supply your local pharmacies. The generic drugs produced in Canada are
subject to the same strict approval and regulations as brand name drugs. These
generics are used by millions of Canadian citizens. The manufacturers of these
generic drugs are large and well-respected companies.
